Product Shots


This category is self-explanatory: photographs of the products that your company sells. Most often these are done in the studio, where the product's main features can be highlighted through lighting, composition, and props. Sometimes the product can be shown "in action," but the focus remains on the product and not on the model or the location. If the number of products is large, then these are commonly called Catalog Shots.

Product shots are used in all of the usage categories, depending on the products and the company. Obviously product catalogs and brochures require photographs, as well as web sites, annual reports, and various public relations activities.
